Highlights of Christmas
Having a full out silly string war in the living room. Even the adults were in on it! This resulted in silly string EVERYWHERE - food, carpet, hair, clothes, presents.
Those “lazy pajama” things that are like bodysuits that you can unzip the butt. We actually convinced my dad to put one on. FUNNIEST THING OF MY LIFE.

She called us this morning and said she couldn’t come home until tomorrow because of the snow. Then just now my dad said he needed us to go get something we forgot at my aunt’s, and we go and THERE IS MY MOM.
I know it’s stupid, but I was really really happy that she surprised us coming home even if it was only the difference of a day.

I've been cleaning my room for two hours.
My back hurts like crazy and there are still boxes/baskets/piles of stuff everywhere. I HAVE TO FINISH.
Today is the day of birthdays.
Well, December the 21st was my mother’s, my aunt, my favorite neighbor, her granddaughter and her sister, as well as an old church friend.
Then the 22nd I log on to Facebook and see FIVE birthdays.
My brother’s was the 19th and my grandma’s is the 28th. Geez!

I have to buy about 45 Christmas gifts.

Today was an amazing freaking day.
Honestly, all I did was eat some food and sit around having good conversations with quite a few different people. Yet, that’s all you need for an awesome day - food, friends, family.

Giving gifts: I love being able to hunt down the perfect things for the people I love, wrapping it up, and putting it under the tree. I love watching them open them and knowing I got them something they liked, and being able to show that I spend energy finding something specifically for them.

I love how my house is decorated for Christmas. This warm, happy feeling just fills the house.
