One thing I always find interesting is learning the background behind things. Some pictures we have seen time and time again, then reading articles about the photographers gives you a new depth on the photograph. Interesting.
My mom writes the athletic articles for our local newspapers, and she has always been doing my sister’s sports/teams. I finally got her to do an article on what I do - dance.
Plus, I got to take pictures for the newspapers, so here it is.

Some guy in class said this today, and it’s true. Art, any art (dance, photography, music) may have technical aspects, but all those specifics aren’t what’s most important. It’s about the art of it, changing things up, being creative, and having passion.
